Scientists at Western University demonstrate when it comes to first time the molecular mechanisms in the office that can cause cannabidiol , or CBD, to block the psychiatric side effects brought on by tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the key psychoactive chemical in cannabis.
It was previously shown that strains of cannabis with high quantities of THC and lower levels of CBD could cause increased psychiatric impacts, including paranoia, anxiety, and addictive-behaviors, but why that has been occurring had not been fully comprehended.
